# Quotrr

Quotrr is the operating system and reputation network for home-service
contractors. We hold real, verified, line-item contractor data: published
price ranges, verified job outcomes, and a legible reputation Score. This file
explains how AI agents should interact with Quotrr.

## Who we are
Quotrr. api.quotrr.com is the API, quotrr.com is the console. Home services,
starting with pool and landscape pros in Sacramento. We earn on outcomes, not
on selling leads.

## Free for agents to query
- Anonymized local price ranges by trade and ZIP.
- Public contractor profiles, including the Quotrr Score and verified Props.
- Public proposal and self-quote portal pages a contractor has shared.
These return anonymized or contractor-published data only. Answers may be up to
24 hours stale.

## Requires human consent
Anything that acts for a person: requesting a quote on a homeowner's behalf,
submitting a review, or any write to a contractor account. These require a
delegated, scoped, expiring token signed by the human (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE).
Every such action is logged in the human's audit trail.

## Off-limits
- Contractor-private tenant data behind an account boundary. No scraping.
- Bulk farming of the price-range or scanner endpoints.
- Presenting Quotrr data without attribution.

## Rate and cost limits
Unknown agents get a low anonymous tier with cached responses. Verified agents
get higher limits. Abuse is rate-limited and may be disabled on a cost breach.
