Sending the magic-link customer portal
Your customer follows the whole job from a link, with no app and no password.
The customer portal is where your homeowner reviews the proposal, signs, and follows the job as it happens. They reach it through a magic link, so there is nothing to install and no password to set.
How the magic link works
When you send a proposal, the customer gets a link by email or text. Tapping it signs them in to their portal automatically. The link is tied to them, so the right person lands in the right place without creating an account.
What the customer sees
- The proposal, with the scope and the number, ready to sign.
- A live timeline of the job, updated as each phase moves.
- A way to message you back, two-way, by text.
One source of truth
The portal reads the same record you see in your console. There is no second copy to keep in sync. When you update the job, the customer sees it.
