Using Quotrr on a tablet
Run Quotrr on an iPad in the field and at the desk. Larger price-book and proposal views, one record across phone and tablet.
Quotrr runs on iPad, not just iPhone, and the bigger screen earns its keep in two places: building proposals at the desk and presenting them in the field. Same account, same data, more room to work.
The desk: more room to build
Setting up your price book and building a detailed proposal is easier with the space an iPad gives you. You see more line items at once, more of a category at a glance, and more of the proposal as it takes shape. Work that is fiddly on a phone, sorting a long price book or arranging a multi-category scope, has room to breathe on a tablet. See Price book setup and Proposal templates.
The field: a screen the customer can read
Sitting at a kitchen table, an iPad turns the proposal into something the homeowner can read with you instead of squinting at your phone. The larger proposal view shows the scope and the number clearly, you can walk through the options together, and the customer can sign right there. A clear screen at the table closes more than a number read off a phone.
One source of truth across phone and tablet
The iPad is not a separate app with separate data. It reads the same record as your phone and the web console. Quote a job on the iPad at the office, finish it from your phone on site, and it is one record the whole way. Nothing to sync by hand, no second copy to keep current. When you update a job anywhere, it is updated everywhere.
Field capture still works
If you carry an iPad on site, the field pieces of a Verified Outcome work the same: photos, the GPS check-in, and the customer signature all capture from the tablet. See Field capture and photos.
Phone or tablet, pick by the moment
You do not choose one device and live with it. The phone is what you carry up a ladder and into a crawlspace. The tablet is what you set on the kitchen table or open at the desk. Both read the same account, so the right tool for the moment is whichever one is in your hand. A lot of contractors quote and present on the iPad and capture and finish on the phone, and the record does not care which did which.
Free on every device
Using Quotrr on an iPad does not cost more. The core is free forever on phone, tablet, and web alike, and Premium, at $5 a week or $150 a year, covers your account across every device you sign in on. There is no per-device charge and no per-seat tax. See Billing and Premium.
Getting started on iPad
Install Quotrr from the App Store on your iPad and sign in with the same Apple account or email you already use. Your price book, customers, and jobs are there waiting, because it is one account. If you are brand new, start with Getting started with Quotrr.
